Terms of Service

By accessing or using harshz.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and harshz ("Company", "we", "us", "our").

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service.

harshz provides a suite of professional productivity tools including, but not limited to:

• zPlayer — all-in-one file viewer and editor for images and PDFs
• GRIHA — green building rating assessment tool
• LCC — life cycle costing calculator
• Financial calculators (GST, EMI, SIP Planner)
• Engineering utilities (Flow Rate, Date Calculator)
• Productivity tools (JSON Editor, Word Counter, World Clock, MultiCalc)

The Service is provided "as is" and features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Some features of the Service require account registration. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account at ask@harshz.com
• Not share your account credentials with any third party

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are found to be fraudulent, or have been inactive for an extended period.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Upload, process, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes any third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Service
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service in a manner that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure

Certain features of the Service may require payment. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us (via our payment partners — Razorpay, Cashfree, or PhonePe Business) to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis as described at the time of purchase.

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy

All content, design, code, graphics, logos, and materials on the Service (excluding user-uploaded content) are the exclusive property of harshz and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

By uploading content to the Service, you grant harshz a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

You retain full ownership of files and documents you upload to the Service. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload and process such content, and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

Many of our tools (including zPlayer) process files entirely within your browser and do not transmit your files to our servers. Where cloud processing is used, we handle your content as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service integrates with third-party services (e.g., Google Gemini API for AI features). Your use of such integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Calculation results from our tools are provided for informational and reference purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional engineering, financial, or legal advice. Always verify results with a qualified professional.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, harshz SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless harshz, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
