Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which harshz ("we", "us", "our") processes refunds and cancellations for purchases made on harshz.com. We aim to be fair and transparent. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

All payments are processed securely through our payment partners — Razorpay, Cashfree, or PhonePe Business. Refunds, where applicable, are credited back to the original payment method.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. The following terms apply:

  • Cancel anytime: You can cancel your active subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain full access until then.
  • No partial refunds for mid-cycle cancellation: If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of the current billing period. Your access continues until the period ends.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically. To avoid being charged for the next cycle, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

  • 7-day money-back guarantee: If you are unsatisfied with a paid plan, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase or renewal, provided you have not consumed a significant portion of the service (see Section 4).
  • Duplicate payment: If you were charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
  • Service unavailability: If the Service was materially unavailable for an extended period (more than 72 consecutive hours) due to issues on our end during your paid period, you may be eligible for a prorated refund or credit.
  • Unauthorised transaction: If a charge was made without your authorisation, contact us immediately at ask@harshz.com and we will investigate and refund if confirmed.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Requests made after the 7-day refund window has expired
  • Subscriptions that have been active for more than 7 days in the current billing cycle
  • One-time purchases or add-ons that have been fully consumed or accessed
  • API usage credits or token-based charges that have already been consumed
  • Accounts found to have violated our Terms of Service
  • Requests citing reasons such as "changed my mind" after the refund window has passed
  • Free trial periods — no charge is made during a free trial, so no refund applies

5. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at ask@harshz.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include your registered email address, the order/transaction ID, and the reason for your request.
  3. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 5 business days.
  4. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Note: Processing times may vary. UPI and net banking refunds are typically faster (2–5 business days); card refunds may take up to 10 business days to reflect on your statement, as per RBI guidelines.

6. Failed or Pending Payments

If a payment attempt fails but your account was debited, the amount is typically auto-reversed by your bank or payment provider within 5–7 business days. If the reversal does not occur, please contact us with your transaction details and we will coordinate with the payment processor on your behalf.

7. Contact for Refund Disputes

If you believe a refund decision was made in error or you have a dispute, you may escalate it by emailing ask@harshz.com with the subject line "Refund Dispute". We will re-review your case and respond within 5 business days.

You may also raise a dispute directly with your bank or payment provider. However, we encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the matter promptly.
